Informing policy-making in Europe with scientific evidence

Biodiversa+ partners are committed to transferring knowledge and disseminating research results produced in projects they fund. Synthesizing relevant scientific evidence and linking it up to major (European) policies, the Biodiversa policy briefs are a key tool to inform decision-making at all relevant scales. The Biodiversa policy briefs also illustrate the high relevance and impact of Biodiversa’s work, and of the research it funds across Europe.

The process is coordinated by Biodiversa and conducted by knowledge brokers that act as interpreters/intermediaries in the dissemination of key Biodiversa-funded research to decision makers. For guidance on preparing a policy brief, please consult the “How to write a policy brief” annex of the BiodivERsA Stakeholder Engagement Handbook, as well as this useful publication.
